Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

Christmas Eve in Taos

December 24 · 5:30–6:30 PM

Join us for one of the most cherished traditions of Taos First Baptist Church—a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service filled with warmth, beauty, and reverence. Whether you come as you are or dress for the occasion, you will find a welcoming place to pause, reflect, and rejoice.

The service weaves together beloved Christmas carols, the gentle glow of candlelight, and the timeless Scripture account of the birth of Christ. It is a simple, meaningful celebration designed to lift the heart and prepare the soul for Christmas Day.

This is a family service, and we delight in having every generation present—from the youngest child hearing the Christmas story for the first time to the oldest saint who knows it by heart. Your entire family is welcome in the sanctuary.

Because this service is a long-standing favorite in our community, early arrival between 5:00 and 5:15 PM is recommended, especially for larger groups wishing to sit together.
