Taos FBC’s missions focus for the month of August will be supporting the work of the New Life Pregnancy Center here in Taos. New Life is a small, non-profit organization committed to providing services and alternatives for those in our community who face an unplanned or unwanted pregnancy.
Among the services they provide are free pregnancy testing and confidential consultations regarding all pregnancy related concerns, as well as counseling and a support group for those suffering from post-abortion syndrome. A representative from New Life Pregnancy Center will be giving a short presentation on their work and needs during service this Sunday at Taos FBC.
To make a contribution to this organization through Taos FBC, please write ‘missions’ on your check or offering envelope any time during the month of August, or you can make a donation online, using the Offering Box tab above. Additionally, we have a number of baby bottles in the sanctuary that you can take home ti fill with loose change or bills and return to the church. These will go directly the Pregnancy Center at the end of the month.
