Taos First Baptist Church is excited to announce VBS 2023, Truth Academy: Discovering the value of knowing God’s Word. The event is scheduled to take place from July 10-14, 2023, and will be held from 9am to noon each day.

This year’s VBS theme is detective-themed, which means participants can expect to enjoy a week filled with fun activities and engaging lessons that will help them discover the value of knowing God’s Word. The event is open to children who have completed Kindergarten through 8th grade.

The event will kick off with an opening assembly that includes music, a skit, and games. Throughout the week, participants will have the opportunity to participate in various activities, including K-5 rotations of snacks, games, Bible, crafts, and science. Children in grades 6-8 will participate in rotations of Bible, cooking, and field games. The day will end with a closing assembly with more music and games.

At Truth Academy, children will have the opportunity to become detectives for the week and learn about God’s Word through interactive and exciting activities. They will be able to explore the Bible and learn important lessons while having fun with their peers. The program is designed to help children develop a deeper understanding of God’s Word and to grow in their faith.

The event is a great way for children to make new friends and to connect with others who share their faith.
